Dirty Pages
I guess it’s ok that I let Daisy sleep on a blanket next to my feet on the bed when Heather is out of town. She just parks there, tired from the day, and doesn’t move until it’s time to get up, which for me, is about 5:30. Especially this time of year when I feel sorta ok “sleeping in.” Yeah, I think it’s ok. She was Heather’s idea anyway.
I’ve read a little more in this book titled, 21 Days to Childlike Prayer. I think it will be helpful. I want it to be helpful.
The Monday night Mens Bible Study group I’m a part of finished 1 Peter last night. Starting in 2 Peter next week. We took a year and 7 months in 1 Peter. Macie had a basketball game today. That’s fun. Hard to believe she’s officially been our daughter for 10 years and 9 days. Where have they gone? She wasn’t big as a minute and missing her front teeth. Way too early.
Thinking about 2026 … a couple of words come to mind:
Focus.
Contentment.
