So Heather up and tells me, “We’re having a girls night for Macie’s birthday and you and the boys need to be gone.”

We went to Mustang Island and the beach. And it was great. Will, Rece, Trey, and I loaded up yesterday and came back this afternoon. I had a meeting yesterday afternoon and did it right there at Mustang Island State Park. That was a first for me. Will, Rece, and Trey wore themselves out. We got to the hotel, cleaned up and went out for supper.
Saturday, while the boys slept, I drove out to see the sun rise over the gulf. And then we all went to pay again in the surf, had lunch, and headed back to Base Camp.
Getting the boot wasn’t so bad. And the girls had a great time without us. Win Win. Easy.
